An extension of time may be requested by the owner/agent of a parcel. An extension period of 15 days may be granted and will start after the specified due date on the Notice or a current extension. Each extension of time shall cost $15, until abatement has been completed. An email will be sent specifying your new completion date. If your extension is denied, you will be notified of the denial and you will not be charged.
If said hazards are not removed or abated by the specified time, a duly designated officer may order said hazards removed or abated. If the Fire District has the said hazards removed or abated, the actual cost, plus administrative charges, shall be levied and assessed against the property as a special assessment lien.
