The Apple Valley Fire Protection District proudly serves as the first responder agency for emergency medical services (EMS) in the Town of Apple Valley and the surrounding rural unincorporated areas of the County. Our commitment to your safety and well-being is reflected in our provision of paramedic-level Advanced Life Support (ALS) services from all frontline fire apparatus.
Strategically Located for Rapid Response
Our fire stations are strategically located to optimize response times, ensuring that we can reach your emergency within 6 minutes. This swift response time is crucial for providing lifesaving care and treatment when you and your loved ones need it most. In medical emergencies, every second counts, and our goal is to arrive quickly and safely, conduct a rapid assessment, and deliver appropriate treatment to stabilize the situation. Of the 13,000 annual calls for service approximately 10,000 of those calls are EMS related.

While our highly trained personnel provide immediate care on the scene, transportation to the hospital is managed by an ambulance transport provider. This collaboration ensures seamless and continuous care from the moment we arrive until you reach the hospital.
