Apple Valley Fire Protection District

Commitment to Service Excellence.

Fire Suppresion

The Fire District’s Operations Division consists of three Battalion Chiefs, each overseeing one of three operational shifts (A, B, and C). These shifts operate out of five fire stations, which are staffed 24/7. Our personnel respond to approximately 13,000 service calls annually, providing Fire and EMS services to the Town of Apple Valley and its unincorporated areas.

Covering an all-hazard response area of 206 square miles, the Fire District faces unique challenges in managing both urban and rural incidents. Additionally, the Fire District offers automatic aid to surrounding communities and actively participates in the California Master Mutual Aid plan, assisting with resources throughout the state as needed.

Our operations personnel are dedicated to the Fire District’s motto, “Commitment to Service Excellence,” and are honored to serve our community.
